White Hat Stories

Hello again eveybody! I've got some new messages posted here for you. Also, this weekend is Memorial Day weekend, traditionally one of the biggest movie release weekends. There's a lot of good stuff coming out (Pirates, anyone?) and some that has already come out. It's a great opportunity to go out and mingle. I'll be out this Saturday myself, and I'll be looking for white hats. So grab a friend, or go alone and get out this weekend. Send us a message and let us know what you went to see (and what you thought of the movie), and tell us if you met anybody.

I remember the postcard that started it all and everyonce and a while I'll stop by your website and check out stories. I don't go to the movies very often but when I do I'm always on the look out for a white hat. I haven't seen one yet but I've seen many people with white hats just walking down the street. I often wonder if they are part of the white hat people but I'm always to shy to ask. As soon as I see a white hat in the movie theatre I will talk to that person. I'm even thinking about going to buy my own white hat.

It's my birthday on Friday, and I know I won't have anyone to celebrate it with. I've become so wrapped up in school that I've lost my ability to make and keep close friends. I don't have a white hat, and I won't be going to a movie Friday. But I will wear my white necklace, as a reminder that I'm not completely alone, and that maybe I don't need other people to be happy.

i know that i'm not alone, and that i won't ever be. i have the most amazing fiance i ever could have asked for, he's the perfect man for me, but he happens to live in wisconsin at the moment, so sometimes i feel so very alone. i have been reading your stories for a while now, and today it dawned on me that even though i'm not alone, i feel like i am a lot of the time. sometimes it feels like even though he loves me, my fiance is too far away to care; my friends are growing up and leaving without me, and i don't really ahve anyone to talk to. so maybe when i go out this saturday i'll wear a new white hat and someone can come have a real conversation with me.

This friday I am going to see The Wreckers in concert, in as luck would have it, a movie theatre.
